After completing secondary school, a friend of mine told me about Harro Höfliger. This was definitely a good decision because the team spirit in the training workshop, the excellent relationship with the instructors and the fantastic work environment motivate me again and again, every day.

The fact that even during the first year of training as a mechatronics technician, I was assigned responsibility for tasks such as putting together small assemblies. This is proof of the trust they have in me and my skills. If I need help, I can ask an experienced member of the team at any time, receive really great tips and always feel like I’m an equal.

My own personal highlight to date was our “Swivel Arm” training project, during which we had to solve a control cabinet task. It really makes you feel good when you’re able to achieve at a small level what you will soon be doing on a larger scale. I was also really impressed that our most senior executive introduced himself to all of the apprentices at the start of our vocational training and greeted everyone personally. That is simply what is so special about a family-operated company such as Harro Höfliger.
