“They have great confidence in me.”

I had my first impression of what the work environment looks like at Harro Höfliger when I did an internship in 9th grade. At the time, I was already fascinated with seeing large production and packaging lines being engineered and assembled and seeing colleagues do the initial test runs. Today, I play a major part in this and am heavily involved in the highly precise processes.

I learned so much in the first year of training alone, it’s really impressive – from wiring to designing a control system for our training project. They entrust me with quite a lot of tasks on the machines in the workshop. I’m allowed to work unsupervised and demonstrate my skills. Vocational training in this environment is really fun!

Once I successfully complete my training, there will be quite a few opportunities available to me as a skilled technician at Harro Höfliger. Continued education is also encouraged. What I find exciting is the opportunity to be involved in the on-site assembly of machines at our customers’ locations in foreign countries and the chance to acquire international experience.
