The assembly machine can be flexibly customized for various devices.

US-based company Experic supports clinical trials of pharmaceutical companies with their know-how and specialized equipment. From now on this also applies to combination medical and pharmaceutical devices: Since May 2020, an Assembly Lab from Harro Höfliger has been in use at Experic. The semi-automatic assembly machine can be flexibly customized for various devices, including autoinjectors, pens and patch injectors. In addition, the batch size can be determined individually - a clear advantage in the early phases of clinical studies, where small batches are required.

The Assembly Lab expands the Harro Höfliger technology portfolio at Experic. State-of-the-art dosing machines from Allmersbach im Tal and an Uhlmann (an Excellence United partner) blister machine have been supporting the micro-dosing, capsule and blister filling area since 2019.

For Thomas Weller, CEO at Harro Höfliger, the strategic partnership with Experic is an extension of Harro Höfliger’s service promise: “We aim to support our customers at every step of the way from concept to commercialization. Thanks to our close cooperation with Experic, this now includes providing services to support clinical studies.”
