Thumbs up for a successful start to training

Starting in autumn 2019, the thirty-one young professionals are taking training courses at Harro Höfliger. Over the next few years, they will learn professions such as industrial engineering, electrical engineering for automation technology, and mechatronic engineering. There will also be one candidate focusing on IT and two on industrial business management.

Six new-starters have chosen the Ulm Model. They will start with a shortened apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic or electronic technician, and then complete a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering at Ulm University of Applied Sciences.

Before the start of the courses, there is traditionally a two-day get-together to prepare for the coming period. This year, the programme included a trip to Bad Urach to visit the Falkensteiner cave, and a trip to Tübingen.

Uwe Amann, Head of Human Resources, is very pleased with the development of the training in recent years: "we have built up a strong pillar with the training. After successful completion, our newly-qualified personnel assume responsibility in all areas of the company.”
