The Modu-C MS is especially designed for reliable and flexible capsule production. The patented trolley system allows a rapid change of the dosing systems for powder, pellets, tablets, micro tablets and liquid. The machine is impressive with its ease of use and minimum set-up and down times during format changes and cleaning.

The Modu-C MS is a compact platform suitable for pharmaceutical applications for capsule production in the medium power range
Precision in production: Empty capsules are fed, separated and inspected for damage in this station.
Replaceable trolley with drum filler. Ideal for powder micro-dosing of extremely cohesive powders and powders with tiny particle sizes. Multiple-dosing is possible. Volumetric dosing by filling dosing holes in the filling drum, without compacting powder.
Replaceable trolley with tamping pin. Ideal for powder dosing with high yield. Processing of abrasive and cohesive powders with good as well as poor flow properties. Automatic adjustment of the tamping pin force.
Tablets can be dosed with extreme count accuracy at a high yield with the tablet station. Sensors monitor the fill level and the number of dosed tablets.
The liquid station covers a wide range of viscosities. When processing mucilaginous media, the capsule bottoms are lifted to support the dosing process.
All functions needed to produce capsule products are included in the Modu-C round motion unit: Opening and separating, filling, capsule capping and separating good and bad products.

Replaceable trolley with liquid station. Thixotropic and hot-melting liquids are kept in continuous motion at constant temperature, even during machine standstill.
The patented dosing trolley system allows the operator to quickly change the dosing method: Whether powder, pellets, tablets, micro-tablets or liquid – the next dosing process is already set up. Short setup times, fast cleaning, maximum productivity. Plug-and-play options for the process change.
Fastest process analytics through mass acquisition: The mass-specific VisioAMV sensor allows for 100% inspection during the dosing of powders, tablets, capsules, pellets and other solid formulations. The PAT method is independent of the target vessel.
Various dosing systems allow combination fillings with up to three products such as powders, pellets, tablets, micro-tablets, powder blends, active ingredients or liquids. It is even possible to fill capsules into capsules.
Standard interfaces (MES, ActiveDirectory, OPC, …) allow the customer-specific peripherals to communicated with the IT network of the Harro Höfliger systems.
