Digital Girls’Day at Harro Höfliger
Schoolgirls experience technology in a virtual format on April 22.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s Girls’ Day was taking place virtually for the first time. During the online event, nine schoolgirls had the opportunity to learn more about Harro Höfliger and get a first look at some technical professions which are very often associated with a typical man’s career.
The Girls’Day team had prepared an exciting program including presentations and video clips. A mechatronics technician in her second year of training and a process engineer from Pharma Services shared insights from their daily routines and answered the participants' questions in a live session. Practical experience was not neglected either: in advance, parcels had been packed for an assembly task and delivered to the students’ homes. Via video instructions, the girls participated in assembling an adhesive tape dispenser made of metal, the individual parts of which had previously been manufactured in the HH Academy.
