Successful completion of vocational training

At the graduation party at the casino, managers, representatives of the HR department, the trainers and many of the parents of the trainees and students congratulate them on reaching this milestone in their professional lives. Harro Höfliger, the senior director, who welcomed the first trainees into the company over thirty years ago, personally presented the completion certificates. Along with congratulations, praise and anecdotes, the newly-qualified recruits to the industry also received a gift.

But successful graduation does not mean farewell: All the trainees and students have been offered permanent positions. Only one of the trainees has opted for further training. HR Manager Uwe Amann is pleased that the highly trained professionals are remaining with the firm: “We are proud to be able to take on so many motivated young people permanently. As our company steadily grows, so does our need for qualified personnel. The great attraction in a career with Harro Höfliger lies in the exciting opportunities we offer as a manufacturer of specialized machinery. However, we also see it as appreciation for the good working environment and our corporate culture.”

Since 1981, school graduates who trained at Harro Höfliger have been able to enter the professional world. They have the choice between training for three skilled commercial occupations and eight study programs in cooperation with the dual universities of Stuttgart, Mosbach and Bad Mergentheim, as well as Ulm University. Around ten percent of employees at Harro Höfliger are in training. Numerous awards and commendations for the top-scoring graduates from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry attest to the high quality of the training.
